           Hitachi has recently purchased the majority stake in IBM's hard disk drive-related 
           assets reportedly to be around $2.05 billion, with the San Jose " based " IBM unit 
           becoming part of a newly formed company called Hitachi Global Storage Technologies,
           located in San Jose, California, USA.
